Panting, hiding, chasing,
And burdens that keep compiling.
Lies, assumptions that unveil its regrets
These burden, and are often scarring.
These weeds we sow;
The truths we brutally tear.
Our thoughts are turning so low,
Darkness happily creeps near.
Without light there is no shadow,
And there is a jail for every foe.
Let Him help you carry these weights
That you have been collecting wherever you go.
He will break away these shackles,
And throw away all your chains.
Do not be afraid to let Him take on your burdens,
He is constant, forgiving, and loving– just let Him break in.
